YouTube... The place where we all go for entertainment. We watch our favorite music video, skits, people performing stupid stunts, and clips from our favorite movies. With this website I like how you can post just about anything. The cool thing about that? You can post videos explaining different concepts in the classroom. It can be used in math when explaining a procedure, or it can be the recording of you lecturing notes in history, or the notes in literature. YouTube allows comments to made which then allows a threaded discussion over the procedures. You can find this at youtube.com. There is also a subscribe feature for when new videos are added. I have yet to find something I disliked about this tool, but I am sure time will show one. I definitely can see YouTube or a similar site being used in the classroom.
